Bicycle Trails Council of the East Bay (http://www.btceb.org) has a group ride for women only, Ride Like A Girl!, on the first Saturday of the month. The emphasis of these rides will be fun and to meet other women who love to ride. We have rides geared towards all level of riders with experienced leaders.
We had planned to ride Waterdog Lake park in Belmont this month but due to the recent rains we are going to postpone riding at Waterdog Park until this summer and ride at China Camp instead. China Camp offers some nice views and non-techical smooth downhill single track. Expect about 1000-1200' of climbing over about 10-12 miles. This will be advanced-beginner and intermediate riding at a moderate pace. There will be a steep climb up a partially paved fire road and a semi-steep rocky downhill. Please gather about 9:15-9:20 to sign in, and meet and greet. Announcements at 9:30, roll soon thereafter. There is a $3 entrance fee to the park.
If you have questions, please email Amy.
