Examples from KIXEYE will be given to illustrate how data is used at every stage of development. An overview of KIXEYE analytics tools will be given, along with the tools they plan to leverage in the coming quarters. Lewis is the Lead Analyst for KIXEYE's mobile division. He helps game product teams and executives understand the massive amount of data produced by RTS games, using tools such as Hadoop and MySQL. John Trobough, President of Narus (a subsidiary of The Boeing Company), will be discussing the importance of machine learning for big data cybersecurity solutions. With the growing volume of data flowing within and across networks, using human analysis alone no longer enables cyber experts to protect their organizations' critical data and network infrastructure. John will speak in depth about how Narus is pioneering big data security solutions that leverage machine learning. Additionally, John will walk through the company's partnership with academic institutions around the world and explore why broader trends in technology, like BYOD ("bring your own device"), and application proliferation are shifting the cybersecurity paradigm for organizations around the world.
