Electrospun Nanofibers Technology and Potential Industrial Applications

Details
Join us for a talk by Dr. Sandip Patil, founder of E-Spin Nanotech, right before the BioPrinter meetup. If you're thinking about what's beyond 3D bioprinting, you'll want to attend this event!
TOWARD 3D PRINTED NANOMATERIALS
Electrospun Nanofibers Technology and its Potential Industrial Applications
Electrospinning is very versatile and novel technique to manufacture ultrafine micro-nanofibers of out of polymer solutions. Polymers of any type can be spun into these micro-nanofibers, and it doesn’t matter whether they have organic, inorganic, or ceramic precursors. This process only requires that the polymer is in a solvent solution or melt form. The potential industrial applications of electrospun fibers are many, with potential applications in biotechnology, filter technology, energy, automobiles etc.
