Birmingham People is for everyone regardless of age (18+) who wants to just have fun, enjoy their life and meet other people.
All our Meetup events are free (except where there is a cost such as Go-Karting). No subscription charges either! No-one makes any money from putting on our events, this group does not run events to make money.
Meals, Pub Nights, Theatre, Cinema, Walks, Something for everyone - so much choice it's sometimes hard to decide what to do!
We're a famously friendly crowd and you can be sure of a warm welcome.
We are based in Birmingham and have members from all over the West Midlands and beyond. Warwickshire, Worcestershire and South Staffordshire areas

An Evening of Forest Breathing and Mindfulness in Cannock Chase
Cannock Chase, Rugeley, Staffs, GBAs evening settles over the forest and the world begins to quiet, you are warmly invited to step into the calm and ancient atmosphere of the trees.
Join us for a gentle 90-minute evening of forest breathing and mindfulness, where we will slow down, soften our thoughts, and reconnect with the natural rhythm of the woodland.
Trees release compounds that can help calm the nervous system and lift our mood, but beyond the science there is also something quietly magical about being in the forest at dusk — the hush of the leaves, the fading light, the feeling of the earth beneath your feet.
During this peaceful gathering we will explore simple breathing practices, mindful awareness, and moments of stillness that help us settle the mind and reconnect with ourselves.
No experience is needed. There is nothing to achieve and nowhere to get to — simply time to breathe, notice, and allow the forest to work its quiet magic.
Expect a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, gentle guidance, and a chance to step away from the busyness of life for a while.
