Winter Game Day!

Winter Game Day!

Boardwalk, 1175 Woods Crossing Road, Greenville, SC, US

Board Game Society will feature its Winter Game Day on Sat. Feb. 21 from 12-5pm at Boardwalk!
---
It's freezing out there! Why not come inside and play board games?
---
The theme for this Game Day is courtesy of Brad Fortner--Numbers! Playing one or more games with such a theme will earn you five bonus tickets in our toasty drawing (see below).

Now, essentially every game involves numbers. But to qualify, the game must be strongly themed around numbers (or a particular number). It could simply be based on matching numbers, like Uno, or have a specific number woven into its theme, like Five Tribes.

Special rule! Because there are a lot of quick games based on numbers, you must play theme games for at least 15 minutes. You can play multiple sessions of one game, or mix-and-match. (And play at a reasonable pace!)
---
Our Game Days are open to the public and feature all the all-ages "open" (as opposed to "scheduled") board gaming you can stand--bring your own games, buy games or choose games from Boardwalk's extensive library.

I'll do my best to help you get into games.

Due to space considerations, don't block playing areas with games--consider leaving some in the car.
---
As an all-ages event, please follow Boardwalk's "watch your language" policy while parents keep their children well-behaved.
---
We will hold a drawing for one or more games at the end of the event (about 4:30pm). You get one (digital) ticket for attending, one for being new to a Game Day or bringing someone new, and five for playing a game matching the "Numbers" theme.

You must be present and wearing your BGS-provided name tag to be eligible. Winners will select games from the prize pool in the order their names are drawn--maximum one prize per person or household.
