This is a nice easy-to-moderate trail that is very enjoyable. Much of it meanders though a shaded forest at a nice easy grade. The elevation gain is around 1200 feet and the round-trip is less than 7.5 miles long. The views are fantastic. Very pleasant!
We will start at 5:30 p.m. and arrive at the summit around two hours later, just in time to watch the sunset! A full moon will rise a little after 8:00 p.m. to light our way back down to our cars. Total hiking time will be 3 or 4 hours.
Dogs are allowed on this trail. Bring plenty of water for your dog and yourself. Parking is on Glendora Ridge Road at a large dirt lot on the uphill side of the road, near mile marker 7.90. Click on the red pin on the map and Google Maps will take you right to the dirt parking lot. No permits are required for parking.
