Cradle to Crayons at Providence Public Library (downtown Providence)

For 1-3 year olds (though I've seen happy infants there as well!)

From the PPL Website: "This program combines time for play and socialization with a story time that includes movement, songs, finger plays and wonderful children’s literature."

This hour, hosted by the Ann at the library, is one of the most well-attended parent events in the Providence area...and for good reason. Just the right balance of open play with toys, cars, trains, play-doh, blocks etc. for about 40 minutes, followed by cleanup and a 15 minute story, song, and movement program.

I've been going for a few weeks now and have met some great dads and moms so I figured why not add this as a Meetup!

I plan on going most weeks and will comment if I can't, but will leave it on the group calendar either way. There are always a bunch of parents and kids there.

There are also programs at 9:30 and 10:30 on Tuesdays, but I can't make those so I'll keep this one as the "official" Meetup. Note: You can come at any time after 9:30, and there is a 10:30 program on Fridays as well.

Also a great opportunity to check out and return books and other kid (and adult) stuff at the library.
