• What we'll do
Given no one meets on Tuesdays for ukulele jam sessions, we're gonna try ours to see who shows up. If you're a beginner, consider taking the workshop earlier at 5 pm (see the meet-up for that).

As usual, we will warm-up with C, F, G or G7 songs; these are from the set list for our first public & outdoor gig (20th June: Solstice Sunset Singalong) and then proceed to more challenging songs. Our focus for this session is on the songbook - on 22 pages (2 MB PDF):

To practice performing, we will be standing up and using music stands.

Our motivation is to play and sing for as long as possible, hence no open mics.

This is a unique opportunity to play music in the former administrative building of the oldest chocolate factory in America. Walter Baker Artist Lofts has a permanent exhibit by the artists in residence. The common room (with temporary exhibit) is on the right-hand side of the front entrance. This is a grassroots initiative to introduce the joy of ukulele to this part of Boston. Location is visible from the Milton-T station.

• What to bring
Ukulele +, own refreshments & snacks (optional to share), printout, music stand. Clothes pegs or clips to hold the sheet music in place, if we are to play outdoors.
