Ukulele Crash Course for Complete Beginners at Historic Lower Mills

• What you will learn how to
-hold your ukulele (posture & position)
-tune it (with clip-on tuner)
-strum
-finger the most basic chords
-play your first song(s)
-receive a handout to guide your practice till the next workshop
$20 cash on arrival, after RSVP (please message me).
Additional $10 if you'd like to reserve an instrument.

After you take this session, you are ready to join the "Workshop for Beginners" which is next Wed. RSVP via meetup.
Unique opportunity to play music in the former administrative building of the oldest chocolate factory in America. Walter Baker Artist Lofts has a permanent exhibit by the artists in residence. The common room (with temporary exhibit) is on the right-hand side of the front entrance. This is a grassroots initiative to introduce the joy of ukulele to this part of Boston. Location is visible from the Milton-T station.

Ukulele + clip-on tuner, own refreshments & snacks (optional to share)
Provided: tables, chairs, free wifi.
