• What we'll do
The hand that controls the timing, rhythm, syncopation, ... the groove is the one that strums, strokes, plucks, picks, taps, and knocks. Often the so-called "right hand technique" is overlooked in ukulele playing. People assume it comes naturally.
But it doesn't.
This one-hour workshop focusses only on the hand that does all of the above. Besides your basic down and up strokes, you will learn the different ways you can combine them, add accents, and the familiar "ukulele" pattern of more advanced players.
Please RSVP and ensure you can receive MESSAGE to get information about method of payment. $20 per person. Doors open 11:15 am to start promptly at 11:30 am.
Session will be video recorded for playback for private viewing by participants only. Handouts will be emailed to participants after the workshop to ensure full eye contact and focus on technique and exercises during the workshop.
Unique opportunity to play music in what was the oldest chocolate factory in America.
