Uke in the Evening: Playing Together with Jamulus, #1

Based on our experience with Jamulus #2, I'm rewriting the details entirely!
All participants MUST
** have had prior experience with Jamulus. My one-on-one setup and introductory tutorial is sufficent.
** have headphones/earbuds, and
** unless we've spoken in advance, a wired (ethernet) connection.
THE ZOOM SESSION IS FOR EVERYONE(!) so that we can see each other. We won't be in sync with the audio, but that's not the point. Please use a separate device for Zoom and Jamulus. There may be listeners via Zoom who are not participating in Jamulus. Their cameras will be turned off so that they do not displace participants.
Session #2 suggested that these initial sessions will work best with songs with a steady beatm. I've compiled a ser of 15 to try as we get accustomed to playing together. A PDF file whose page numbers in the Table of Contents are live links can be found at

Since we'll all be hearing each other, this session is for traditional 4 string ukes (all four sizes) only. No banjo ukes, resonator ukes, 8 string ukes, or non-uke instruments because they stand out. Thanks for your understanding.
The Jamulus portion will NOT be held on the Ukulele Union server. The address and instructions for getting there will be send to all registered participants.
