Uke In The Afternoon: An afternoon ukulele Meetup and...we've gone weekly!

It's the nature of online conferencing that we hear something a fraction of a second after it's sung/spoken. It's not a problem when speaking with each other, but deadly when trying to sing together. So, each song has a leader and the rest sing along while muted.

The jam is for leaders with four string soprano, concert, tenor, or baritone ukuleles.

We usually work out of a fixed songbook.

The songbook has live links! Clicking on a song title in the Table of Contents takes you to the song sheet. Clicking on "ToC" in the upper right hand corner of the page returns you to the Table of Contents.

A proposed set list will appear in the comments shortly, if it is not already there. If anyone has a particular song from the book, even if not in the list, that s/he would like to lead, PLEASE NAME IT IN THE COMMENTS.

There is time for 16 songs. Anyone who wishes may choose either a song to lead or one of up to 2 open mic slots, first come, first served.

When choosing a song, PLEASE ALSO CHOOSE A PLACE IN THE SET LIST to determine the order in which the songs will be led. I will do my best to provide a PDF containing only the songs in the order in which they'll be led. Once again, information will appear in the Comments.

Please have your selection in on later than 11 pm of the day before the Meetup, the earlier the better.

Before choosing a song, please check requests that have come in below the current set list. They will have priority.

When making a request, please place it below the song list. Don't add it as a Reply to an earlier Comment, because I might not see it.
