Do you feel the need to whack something with a hammer? Consider this session with Gail Siegel in creating hoop earrings out of sterling silver wire and copper tubing! Tubing is perfect for hoops, as it's lightweight but has great visual impact.

Students will work with pliers, hammers, files and a jewelry saw to complete two pairs of earrings. Two different types of hoop closure, texturing, work hardening, and how to patina the metal are all covered in class discussion.
