The First Flatironette would look like a big rock if it weren't right beside the much larger First Flatiron. The Flatironette is 2 or 3 pitches long and rated 5.2. The climb is multi-pitch, so the number of people is limited by the number of people who can lead climb. When you sign up, let me know if you can lead a rope. If someone else who can lead signs up I'll increase the number of slots available and move them plus one other person (or 2 if you lead on double ropes) from the wait list (if there's a wait list) to attending.
Gear, if you're following: climbing shoes, harness, helmet, & belay device. Plus, if you have them, a cleaning tool and an extra locking 'biner.
Since the Chautauqua parking fees are in effect let's meet at the free shuttle parking at the New Vista High School parking lot on the north side of Baseline Rd just west of Broadway. The forecast is for a hot day, so we're starting early.
