What we’re about
Boulder Java Users Group is a free, informal, all-volunteer, group of Boulder Java enthusiasts that has been meeting since November 1995. We rely on community participation. We need your involvement, ideas, thoughts, and help if we are to continue to provide quality technical education and events now and into the future! Boulder Java Users Group brings you leaders and specialists in Java technologies for first hand exposure to code, best practices, tools, methodologies, and cutting-edge solutions. Meetings are free and open to the public. Contact Kris Woyna.

# Java 25 Launch Stream
Join the Java DevRel team as we celebrate the release of Java 25 with a live stream to the Java YouTube channel from our studio on Oracle's Redwood Shores campus in Silicon Valley! It'll start at 15:00 UTC (8:00am PDT, 11:00am EDT, 17:00 CEST, 20:30 IST, midnight JST) on Tuesday, September 16th.
We'll cover all changes coming in JDK 25 along with key additions and updates in JDKs 22, 23, 24 for the many of you who will likely make the jump from JDK 21 straight to 25. We will also give you a glimpse of what is coming to Java in 2026 and beyond. Special guests from the JDK team, industry, and community will share what they have been working and what they are looking forward to in JDK 25.
Be sure to follow us on the the Java YouTube channel, and check back here regularly as we release the schedule and guest list for the livestream. Subscribe, so you don't miss it!
