6:00 Introduction

6:10 Program

7:00-8:00 PM Networking

As a psychologist, entrepreneur and a person who has fought depression, Sally Spencer-Thomas knows about this experience all too well. She is the Co-Founder and CEO of the Carson J Spencer Foundation, a Denver-based nonprofit that is leading innovation in suicide prevention. Carson was her younger brother, also an entrepreneur, who died by suicide in 2004. Today, the Carson J Spencer Foundation works to build bold, gap filling suicide prevention strategies to prevent what happened to Carson from happening to others.

At the workshop you will learn about their compelling programs like:

· Man Therapy (using humor to engage men in mental health) http://www.ManTherapy.org

· Working Minds: Suicide Prevention in the Workplace http://www.WorkingMinds.org

· The FIRE Within: Youth Entrepreneurs Preventing Suicide http://carsonjspencer.org/programs/fire-within/

· iCare: Gifts of Compassion for People Bereaved by Suicide http://carsonjspencer.org/programs/icare/

Over the past year, Sally has been building partnerships within the Boulder entrepreneurship community to help build resources for entrepreneurs facing tough times, and she invites your feedback.
