What we’re about
Hi there! This group is for Unity users located in Bristol that seek to gain more experience and share it with like minded peers. Our aim is to create a forum where we can share knowledge, offer advice to each other and get feedback on the projects we are working on. The group includes both professional and amatour developers. In short, everyone is welcome. The meetup is organised in association with Bristol Games Hub where our events is taking place. The main meetup is run on a monthly basis and always features a talk on a specific aspect of Unity development. Afterwards the floor is open to either ask for help and to showcase your project to get feedback on it. The meetups usually ends on so we also get a chance to socialise as well. The first talk we held was a general introduction to Unity and we aim to have talks on everything from shaders, editer extensions, networking, and post-mortems on finished Unity projects. We welcome input and ideas from everyone so if you have an idea for a talk at the monthly meetup or a completely separate event you are more than welcome to drop us a message. We are looking forward to meet you!

See all- A Wizard’s Wool post-mortem2 Mitchell Ln, Bristol
Hi everyone,
Apologies for the delay in organising these. Hoping to get into a proper cadence of these events again and get events on for the rest of the year.
Ben Byford from Nuclear Candy Games has volunteered his time to talk about Wizard's Wool. A short summary for his talk:
"Thoughts on unity development, games design, teams and processes developing a 3D game with a publisher"
Should be an interesting talk about a project that has had plenty of interesting events around it!
We'll then find a pub for some drinks and networking after!
Thanks to dBs Institute who are hosting us again! Hope to see you there!
Lukas
