What we’re about
Hi there! This group is for Unity users located in Bristol that seek to gain more experience and share it with like minded peers. Our aim is to create a forum where we can share knowledge, offer advice to each other and get feedback on the projects we are working on. The group includes both professional and amatour developers. In short, everyone is welcome. The meetup is organised in association with Bristol Games Hub where our events is taking place. The main meetup is run on a monthly basis and always features a talk on a specific aspect of Unity development. Afterwards the floor is open to either ask for help and to showcase your project to get feedback on it. The meetups usually ends on so we also get a chance to socialise as well. The first talk we held was a general introduction to Unity and we aim to have talks on everything from shaders, editer extensions, networking, and post-mortems on finished Unity projects. We welcome input and ideas from everyone so if you have an idea for a talk at the monthly meetup or a completely separate event you are more than welcome to drop us a message. We are looking forward to meet you!

See all- Building Multiplayer VR Games using Netcode for GameObjects2 Mitchell Ln, Bristol
Hi everyone,
For October's Meetup, I'm delighted to have Antonia Forster from Unity (and Bristol local) as the featured speaker. Her talk description is below:
Developing multiplayer games poses unique challenges. The same is true for developing spatial / virtual reality experiences. So how do you successfully combine the two? Join Antonia Forster, Senior XR Technical Specialist, for a crash course on building your first multiplayer VR experience using Unity's "Netcode for GameObjects" library.
All welcome regardless of your technical level and should be especially interesting if you've been curious to learn more about Netcode for GameObjects!
Thanks to dBs Institute for hosting us once again.
Really looking forward to this session and hope you can join us! Any questions, let me know.
