"If unemployment is so low, why can't I find a job?"
According to the Colorado’s Department of Labor, the unemployment rate for July 2018 remains at 2.9%, below the national average of 3.9%. source: Despite these figures, many people are still struggling to find meaningful work. Normally, a low unemployment rate helps the job seeker, as there is less competition. However, this interpretation can be misleading, depending on the target job or industry. What is going on here? Join us for this engaging and interactive presentation to address all your unspoken questions and concerns about landing a great job in any economic environment. Each month, we explore a topic related to job searching, with a 45-60 minute presentation followed by open networking time. The vision of the group is to educate our members, while providing an opportunity to meet with other job seekers for support and connection. We will send out a notice of the upcoming presentation before the next Meetup.
