Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix a non-profit Buddhist Center that is open to everyone, and offers meditation classes, a variety of introductory and in-depth courses, chanted prayers and retreats. Classes take place in our beautiful meditation room and are suitable for all individuals whatever their level of interest, from those who seek simple relaxation to those who wish to find lasting inner peace and contentment through following the Buddhist path. We also offer classes in Anthem, Fountain Hills, Sun City West, Surprise, Mesa and Tempe. This series consists of a dynamic combination of guided meditation and teaching, all aimed at enabling students to develop their daily practice and become skillful meditation practitioners.

Using instructions given in the texts, How to Understand the Mind and The Mirror of Dharma, Gen Tabkay will explain the mental tools we need to make progress in meditation. The instructions shared during this course are applicable to all meditation levels and will include simple breathing meditation, meditating on the stages of the path (Lamrim) or Buddha’s profound tantric meditations.
