About our speaker: Michael is a self-taught electronics engineering technician, with +30 years real world work experience, specializing in hardware design support (doing the things that engineers hate to do) but dabbles with firmware/software to understand how programmers make the hardware do what it does.

Occupation: provides consulting engineering technician services to small electronics companies and consultants through his company 'MikeTek'

Hobbies: electronics (analog/digital), Amateur Radio, micro-controllers, robotics, remote control/drone technology, anything 'Maker' related, and repairing anything that is broken (just for the fun and challenge of it), because it used to work, so it must be made to work again!
