Only Two Networking Events This Weeks

Looks like a short week due to the holiday.  I did not find anything going on today, Monday.
Tuesday there is only ToastMatchers at Connect at 1pm.  Bio2Device is taking a powder.
( with so little going on, I’m looking for something new on MeetUp, and found this:
“College of Lockpicking Workshop”
Which sounds really interesting, but it’s way up in Emeryville.
I’d be willing to carpool if there is interest )
Somewhat remarkably, the “SF Peninsula BioMedical Device Meetup” is on for 6pm Wednesday at the Westin in Palo Alto.  I’ve been twice before now, it’s a fun event with interesting people.
Don't eat too much though.
So this is likely the shortest message ever re. upcoming events.  Looking back at last week:
I was at Steve’s Drop In Strategy on Monday.  Seemed like a bit more cross-talk than usual, more ideas and help traded within the group, which was good.
The VLAB event Tuesday was very worthwhile, saw many from the ProMatch / Csix community there also.  Think it was the best choice for me over the competing Bio2Device event, though at least a couple people receiving this message went to B2D that evening.  Made a couple good contacts too.  A few pics from the VLAB event here:
Maybe the biggest surprise last week was the Wednesday PV event at PARC, though the turnout was small and the snacks very poorly presented, there was a lot of important information in the technical presentation I did not previously know, and some good discussion afterward.  Pics here:
Thursday evening I was able to attend the ASME “Thirsty Third Thursday”, sometimes this is a conflict with other events and I’ve regrettably missed it a couple timed now. It is a fun and lively event, about eight showed up, interesting mix of ages and predicaments. Put one photo on Facebook “live” during the event, maybe you saw it.
Friday there was a retirement lunch for a past colleague I attended, this caused me to miss Post Pro Match.
Saturday the electric car club meeting was worthwhile though it did go on longer than it needed to.  Photography was not allowed inside the Google building, but I took a few pics outside:
After the holiday, while I usually don’t look more than seven days ahead, there will be some unique events, including an unfortunate ASQ / SVEC conflict next Wednesday.
