Description: Yogi Schulz will increase our understanding of how to create powerful visualizations. We’ve all sat through unreadable, confusing, boring, or even misleading presentations with their associated charts. We’ll talk about how to make charts more powerful so that we communicate our message better.
Yogi will describe these aspects of powerful visualizations:
- Understand visualizations
- Create visualizations
- Refine visualizations
- Present and practice visualizations
These techniques for powerful visualizations apply regardless of which of your favorite software tools you are using.

Biography: He founded Corvelle Consulting. The firm specializes in project management and information technology related management consulting in the upstream oil & gas industry.
Mr. Schulz has 40 years of Information Systems experience of which over 35 have been spent as a consultant. He holds a B. Comm. from The University of Calgary. He is a member of PMI and CIPS and holds its ISP designation.
Yogi has presented at many conferences including oil & gas conferences. Yogi writes a monthly blog at ITWorldCanada.com. Yogi served as a member of the Board of Directors of the PPDM Association. He has written monthly columns for Computing Canada and The Calgary Herald that address IT management issues.
