Sustainability for Breakfast - Collaboration: Community Investing

Fostering Collaboration through Mindful Investing.

Since the mid 90’s Patti Dolan of Dolan Wealth Management with Raymond James Ltd. has worked with clients in choosing investments that align with their values. Responsible investing is a method that screens companies on how they work within their communities, treat the environment and govern themselves. Patti has worked at an international level with the UN Global Compact, nationally with the Responsible Investment Association,and locally with the University of Calgary, Calgary Poverty Reduction Initiative and various other organizations.

Working within the Calgary social finance community Patti has formed many collaborative relationships. One being with Houston Peschl of Haskayne, University of Calgary and The Prasino Group. Patti has presented to Houston’s MBA sustainability classes on Responsible Investing. They have also worked on investment strategies that would affect the local economy; these strategies are often referred to as Impact Investing.

Breakfast will be provided and there will be variety of foods on the menu.
