Salt Marsh Bird and Plant Walk @ Eden Landing Ecological Reserve, Union City
Details
Join us for a bird and plant identification walk through Eden Landing Ecological Reserve in Union City. The Reserve is part of the South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project, and features a loop trail around shorebird ponds and salt works ruins. Knowledgeable members from CNPS and the Audubon Society will be on hand to identify birds and native plants and answer your questions.
We will cover 3.8 miles on a level path. Wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring a hat, a light jacket (it will be windy), water, your plant and bird lists, and binoculars and/or cameras.
Directions: From Highway 92, take the Clawiter Road/Eden Landing Road exit, go south on Eden Landing Road to the end, past the intersection with Arden Road, and into the Reserve parking lot.
