This is the December CamPUG meeting. Normally some of us go on to the pub afterwards.
It's not compulsory (since speakers need an audience), but attendees for the December meeting are encouraged to come and do a short talk about something of interest - anything from 3 minutes up.
For traditional lightning talks, we'd have a hard stop at five minutes, but since this is the pre-Christmas session, we'll be a bit more relaxed.
You don't need to prepare anything sophisticated - it's not too hard to talk for a couple of minutes on why you like Python, or what you use it for, or even what other programming languages/techniques/editors/whatever we might not know but should find out about. And if you've got an idea that you think might make a talk, but you're not sure, then come and try it out.
If you do have an idea, please add it to the conversation on this page.
And, as a small incentive, there will be mince pies.
