First Winter Gathering of the Corgsters in 2014

Please double check so that you can bring what you may need ie vaccination proof etc and to RSVP so we don't accidentally have too many show up or have you turned away for lack of rabies proof.

I apologize for my disorganization. I'm new to this whole meetup organizer stuff so I'm not familiar with all the features etc of the website.

As you all may have heard through email the Country Club is closing down and the facility will be changing gears in March. I'm volunteering to help handle the transition and I'm new to the whole Meetup.com club thing. I think there weren't usually any Meetups during the winter for the season. That said, now that the venue is closed and our little ones have hearty double coats and love the cold it would be a shame to not to try to get together before the weather warms up again. Is everyone game for a mid-January meetup?

Zoom Room is willing to take us on bad weather days as a back up on Sunday afternoons at 5pm so for now I'm scheduling our first 2014 gathering there on Sunday Jan 19th. Please check the zoom room website for thier rules ie vaccinations etc.

We are going to be without an outdoor venue unless we find a new one. I realize Zoom Room is also pretty far out and technically not in NOVA so I'm totally open to alternating indoor venues if you guys are members at another facility. Most importantly, I'm all ears as to suggestions as to where we can go on good weather days outside. I don't know if any place will be a nice as the Country Club but we'll figure something out to keep the club going. We can discuss this with our fellow huMoms at a January reunion while the pups play.
