Sunday 29th June:
Arrive by train or car
If you come by car, park up on the Leas near the famous old hotels, Metropole and the Grand where there is plenty of free parking.
Enjoy a walk along the top and along the coast to Sandgate less than a mile away
Enjoy fish and chips on the beach, or lunch in the olde world refurbished Ship Inn, then cross the street to the CHICHESTER HALL for an afternoon of fun.
Local international professional opera singers will entertain us with a medley of songs you know and love so well....and a few arias...
14.30 Chichester Hall doors open
15.00 Amazing Afternoon of English songs and music by international opera singers Per Bach Nissen and Josephine Halsall accompanied by Alise Kirtley.
There will be an interval with cream cakes, sandwiches and non stop tea and coffee.
Champagne and wine for those who fancy a little extra!
17.00 Concert ends
You can either jump on a bus or stroll up the quick path to Folkestone... about 1/2 a mile
We enjoy an informal setting and limit the places to 40 so that Per can serenade us as he walks among the tables!

Proceeds go to a local project, the Folkestone Community Fridge which encourages people to take food that otherwise would have been wasted and stops food from going in landfill.
