2019 CAC TEAM TENNIS LEAGUE The season will begin in late April and last 12 to 15 weeks, after which a playoff format will end the season. CAC will continue to organize a summer tennis league for anyone over 21 years old and single. Teams will be formed with matches held on Monday and/or Tuesday evenings beginning at 7:30 PM at Moore Park in Brookline. Awards will be presented at the sports picnic in September. Application deadline is March 23. Applications will be accepted on a 1st come, 1st served basis. If enough players sign up before the deadline (to fill each team), all additional applications will be placed on the waiting list. We will have a maximum of 4 teams consisting of a maximum of 6 women and 6 men. There will be no refunds after a player has been assigned to a team (late March). The match will begin at 7:30 pm. If you arrive after 7:40, you will not be able to play that night. This rule will be strictly enforced unless you call your coach by 7:30. The season will continue to feature an all doubles format. This will allow players of all skill levels to participate. The cost of the tennis league is $20 for CAC members and $25 for non-CAC members. If you are also in the softball league, your cost is $10 for CAC members and $15 for non-CAC members. The price includes tennis balls for the evening, awards, and the catered sports picnic. The additional $10.00 for the non-softball players will cover the cost of the September catered picnic (softball players paid for the picnic when they signed up for softball). If you have a schedule restriction or there is a team and/or another player that you would like to be on the same team with, list this under "comments" in the application. There are no promises however. Please call Gary Urbatis if you have any questions,[masked], [masked].
