SUN. DEC. 4-BLOCKHOUSE POINT. A moderate 10-mile loop in Blockhouse Point Park and along the C & O Canal. Highlights include rocky view points of the Potomac and the canal and a visit to the ruins of Seneca Sandstone Mill.
As we car pool from the metro to the trail head, your costs will include a $3 carpool fee (+ $2 nonmember fee).
No need to make reservations, but be mindful that a critical number of drivers and cars are needed to transport hikers from the meet-up site to the trail head.
