The Center for Spiritual Awareness is a loving, diverse and inclusive community. We celebrate all paths to Source, to God, knowing that we are each a unique expression of this One. We celebrate through music, dance, love and joy. We connect through the spiritual practices of meditation, affirmative prayer, affirmation, and visioning. We offer three celebration services – Saturday Night Alive at 7:00 p.m., and Sundays at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. We have a dynamic children’s program and teen group that meets during the 11:00 a.m. service. We also offer classes, workshops, and many varied opportunities for people to gather in community throughout the week. Please visit our website and calendar for more information www.CSAsacramento.org.
Grinding Rock is a beautiful park with open meadows, large valley oaks, and is a living history of the Miwok. There are two nature walks where we may see wildflowers and wildlife. There is a great museum and places where we can picnic! We'll meet in front of the Museum at 10:00 a.m. or you can join one of two carpools: from the Center for Spiritual Awareness at 8:30am or the Hazel Park and Ride adjacent to Nimbus Flat Recreation Area at 9:00am. Bring cash to help pay the driver for gas and the $8 parking fee.
