We did this last year, and it was a blast! Literally! Once per hour, they fire a real cannon! Civil War reenactors demonstrate what it was like when soldiers camped out at the Statehouse.

If you've never seen the inside of our Statehouse, there is no better time. Last year, we were very lucky to receive a tour of the Statehouse from President Abraham Lincoln himself. We got some amazing photos. If I confirm the President will be in attendance this year, I will update the meetup with that info.

As of Tuesday 5/6/14, the weather forecast looks good. But, if it rains, we'll still do a tour of the Statehouse.
