This group is for those who use the Python computer language or who want to learn more about the language. Python is a great language for rapid development and has some awesome web frameworks that make getting a functional web application up and running quite easily.

We meet at Improving and online again using gather.town for the socializing and schmoozing, announcements and presentation(s).

This month the presentation will be an open forum about using Visual Studio Code for Python projects. Please bring your favorite VSC extensions that help you with Python.

Schedule:

6:00 p.m.: Socialize, eat, and drink (at Improving ) or just socialize on gather.town.

6:30 to 8:00 pm. Main meeting and presentation(s).

Additional information:

Improving will be providing pizza and beverages.

Gather Town supports multiple conversations, so it is good for socializing with side conversations. No registration is required to use Gather Town and there's nothing to install or download to use it. The only software you need to access Gather Town is a Chrome or Firefox browser.

We meet on the last Monday of each Month. Presentations are given by members and friends of this group. If you would like to do a presentation (small or large) on a python topic, please contact Travis Risner at [masked].
