What we’re about
Greetings.
Chandler Tennis Meetup members play doubles and singles for free on Monday, and Wednesday evenings at Corona del Sol High School, and on Saturday night at Desert Breeze Park nearby. We reserve tennis courts for a small fee on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Gilbert Regional Park. These courts are all in above-average to excellent condition and have adjacent parking.
Most of us are intermediate players, and we pledge to help beginning players get started while trying our best to keep up with more advanced players in a recreational setting.
In addition to the current venues, Chandler Tennis Meetup occasionally hosts other times at the schools or parks of various Mid- to East 'Valley' locations (Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, and Mesa). The more popular times and locations may added to the regular schedule as hosts become available.
Thanks for visiting our Meetup site and we hope to see you on the court soon!

See all- Monday Night Tennis! (Desert Breeze, starting at 6:00 PM)Desert Breeze Tennis Courts, Chandler, AZ
VENUE:
Monday Night Tennis! at Desert Breeze Park starts at 6:00 PM as we would like to secure two courts early. This is a temporary venue until the City of Tempe restores the lights at CDS.
The RSVP limit is 16 players. Those on the waitlist may arrive at any time but may wish to arrive at 7:30 PM when there is often some turnover. All 4 courts are lit until 10:25 PM.
These tennis courts are about 1/2-mile East of Desert Breeze Blvd and Rural Rd. Desert Breeze Park is a short 4.5-mile drive South of Kiwanis Park.
Answers to FAQ's (your questions may be answered here):
- Finding us is easy. Everyone is friendly and will let you know if they are with Chandler Tennis Meetup. Check the Meetup site comments area for reserved court locations, only at Gilbert Regional Park.
- Expect low to high intermediate level tennis (NTRP 3.0-4.0) and, occasionally, players at higher levels.
- Beginners are still welcome. Please let fellow participants know your level so everyone can have a great player experience.
- Set play includes no faults on the first serve of the night only ('first ball in') for each player from the deuce side.
- If players are waiting, best of four game sets, with a seven-point tiebreak, are preferred. No-advantage games are helpful as well.
- Instruction outside of the Meetup is encouraged. USTA sanctioned private instruction is best, followed personal video analysis locally or via social media such as https://2minutetennis.net/.
COVID-19 Precautions - do not play if you:
- Are exhibiting any symptoms of the coronavirus: mild to severe
respiratory illness with fever, cough, or difficulty breathing.
- Have been in contact with someone in quarantine for COVID-19.
