Welcome to the first meetup of 2018! Charlotte Bots and AI is co-hosting the January meetup along with Davidson Machine Learning Group (https://www.meetup.com/Davidson-Machine-Learning-Meetup/) are arranging a Panel Chat with some of the very indulged and involved personalities in Charlotte. Most of these folks have diverse interest, passion and manage to dedicate time to what they enjoy.
At the Panel Chat we will be exploring the different areas and spectrum of Data Driven Technology such as - Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Data Mining, Internet Of Things(IoT).

Mark Cooke (https://www.linkedin.com/in/markccooke/) - Mark is an Anthropology major, who enjoys using critical thinking and skills gained from anthropology and technology to create solutions for complex problems. In his current roles as the Chief Innovation Officer at Tax Management Associates (http://www.tma1.com) and CEO/CIO at Reason Analytics, LLC - "Innovation" is key.
Sharon Jones (https://www.linkedin.com/in/sharon-torrence-jones-a9b264a6/) - Sharon is a self motivated, out of the box thinker who brings real-life business problems to the classroom and teaches real-life technological solutions to those problems. Sharon is the CoFounder and one of the hosts on Lady Tech Charmers (http://ladytechcharmers.com/) podcast, whose mission is to benefit, inspire, and educate women and girls.
Phillipe Loher (https://www.linkedin.com/in/phillipe-loher-7b66911/) - Phillipe is currently doing DNA/RNA research at Thomas Jefferson University's Computational Medicine Center. Phillipe started the Charlotte area Machine Learning Group (https://www.meetup.com/Davidson-Machine-Learning-Meetup/) where the attendees spend time exploring many machine learning technologies (convnets, recurrent neural nets, tensorflow, syntaxnet, quantum computing, kaggle competitions, ...)
Bill Eddy (https://www.linkedin.com/in/bill-eddy-67ab893/) - Bill is a motivated problem-solver who enjoys taking on complex tasks and can deliver timely solutions. Bill has over 12 years experience with database technologies, including SQL Server. As Director of Data management at LendingTree, Bill manages and leads the Data Group at LendingTree.
Dan Thyer (https://www.linkedin.com/in/logicaldan/)- Dan is co-founder and CTO of Logical Advantage (http://www.logicaladvantage.com) . Dan is president and founder of the Charlotte Internet of Things (https://www.meetup.com/Charlotte-Internet-of-Things/) (IoT) and the Logical Advantage Charlotte Tech Talks user groups. Dan is on the steering committee of the Regional Internet of Things and the Enterprise Developers Guild. Dan was awarded Microsoft Most Valuable Professional MVP for his engagement in the community around IoT/cloud and Microsoft Channel 9 has featured Dan's IoT projects 8 times!
