Senior Planet is a nonprofit focused on enabling older adults to come together and find ways to learn, work, create, exercise, and thrive in today’s digital age. Charlotte Mecklenburg Library provides free technology classes using the Senior Planet curriculum, taught by Charlotte Mecklenburg Library staff and trained community volunteers. This program provides a welcoming learning environment for older adults to support each other as you develop new technology skills. Join us weekly at Freedom Park as we traverse the trails and discuss a particular article, podcast episode, or short story on our walks - something short and sweet to provide a fun and engaging discussion while we get our steps in.
All trails are fully paved, and we'll walk at a pace that's comfortable for everyone, walking about 1.5 miles total.
