What the Census Really Said: Clues Hidden in Plain Sight
University City Regional Library, 5528 Waters Edge Village Dr., Charlotte , NC, USThe U.S. Federal Census is more than just names and numbers. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to decode the changing questions, categories, and quirks of each census year from 1790 to 1950. Discover what details were asked (and what was left out), how to spot inconsistencies, and how each decade’s census can reveal powerful clues about your family’s journey.
This program will be held both in-person and virtually via Zoom.
