About us
Yoga is more than a physical practice. The ethics and philosophical aspects are just as important as the asanas. Yoga inspires us to move beyond our egos in order to benefit others and promote bliss, happiness and enlightenment. Any and all bodies who desire to learn more or to develop a yoga practice should have access to classes led by qualified instructors in comfortable spaces. Students should not feel limited by finance or any other barriers to practice yoga. This group was created to inform the yogis of the Chattanooga area where they can turn for affordable and accessible classes. This is Karmic Yoga in action.

Kundalini has three main parts: breath, meditation, and movement. This 75 minute class is a wonderful tune-up that brings basic nutrition to the body that can enhance clarity and calm the mind.
Kundalini, the yoga of awareness, is an ancient Sanskrit word that means "coiled snake," a divine energy at the base of the spine. This sacred yoga has been around for over 5,000 years and its practice helps to connect to the Higher Self and uncoil our kinetic energy through movement and breath.

Ashtanga Half Primary Series ($8 Community) @ Yoga Landing

In this led-style class, the teacher will guide students through a breath-centered practice consisting of a condensed sequence of the traditional Ashtanga Primary Series including folds, twists, balancing postures, inversions, and backbends.
Familiarity with the Ashtanga sequence is suggested but not necessary, all levels of practitioners are welcome. For those who are less experienced, there are two options: observe the unfamiliar asanas, and/or modify the postures. Modifications and adjustments will be offered as needed.
