Night Out In the Parks: All that Glows

Science is constantly discovering that in the right conditions, certain plants and organisms have a magnificent glow, and more and more glowing plants and animals are added to the list every day. Come learn about biofluorescence, and join us on a search for new fluorescent creatures! Presented by ChiTownBio. In accordance with Be Safe Chicago Guidelines for Parks and Recreation Activities, participants in this activity will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing at all times while participating. Patrons who are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 are asked to stay home and join us for an event when symptoms subside.

Visit the Nature Center after-hours! The Nature Center and preserve will be open late for those who work during the day. Visit anytime between 4pm and 9pm on June 25th to enjoy the first Friday of summer!
