Our Mission
Fathers and Families Coalition of America (FFCA) has a mission to enhance the capacity of service providers throughout the nation and internationally, so they will be better equipped to effectively serve fathers, mothers and children.
Our Vision
FFCA's vision that by 2015 we facilitate the professional development of local fatherhood & family engagement service providers in every state in the United States. Our vision as servant leader to advance the needs of children, mothers and fathers will be furthered through the development of global participation in our virtual marketplaces that reduce the impacts of father absence.
We are very pleased to announce the kickoff campaign for the 1st Annual National Ball & Father-Daughter Dance. As the only program of its kind in Washington DC metropolitan area, the National Ball & Father-Daughter Dance is unique in recognizing the importance of Advocating Values.
This mission of the National Ball & Father-Daughter Dance is to celebrate innovation and praise solutions to a remedy culture of "Moral Failures".
"The best way to shape the future is to influence it." - Harry Mills
Although an involved, responsible father cannot guarantee his child's success in the world, there is ample reason to wonder about the future of a child who grows up without such a man in his or her life. Clearly, an engaged, responsible, loving father can do a lot to give a child a boost, while an absent or uncaring one can do even more to cripple that child. The only thing surprising is that this comes as a surprise to so many people.
We are calling on you to join us in sponsoring this inaugural event that will bring together Fathers and Daughters of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate their loving relationship. The theme of the celebration is 'Values, A Lifetime of Love' and is intended to showcase the important role fathers and father figures play in the lives of their daughters.
