Grex Intermedius
This is a meeting for people who have a good grasp of Latin grammar. If you're just starting out, it might not be your cup of tea. We're currently working our way through Cicero's Dē Imperiō Pompeiī. Email the organizer at [masked] for more information about what we'll be discussing in any given week. We hold our discussions as much in Latin as we can, but our comfort and experience levels vary, so if you don't feel comfortable talking in Latin, it's absolutely fine to speak English. We're far more interested in creating an environment in which everybody feels comfortable contributing and learning than in forcing everybody into a particular way of doing things. Macte virtūte!

What we're about

This is a group for people who are interested in learning, relearning, reading in, and speaking classical Latin, the language spoken by the ancient Romans. We're working our way through Hans Ørberg's Lingua Latína per sé illustráta, along with some more advanced reading, and teaching ourselves to speak Latin as we go!

Note: Latin learners of all levels are welcome. Most of us are beginners.
