City Hall Hack Night: Civic Lightning Talks!
Details
Civic Lightning Talks are your opportunity to be heard in 5 minutes or less! Talks can be on virtually anything of a civic nature:
• Pain points in public services
• Opportunities to improve quality of life (e.g., health, mobility, housing, public safety, economic development, etc.)
• Interesting civic technologies or platformsNew perspectives on public policy
• Emerging methods and processes for sovling problems
Please note that talks should not be of a political nature. That is, they should not be focused on any particular elected officials or political parties. That stuff is boring.
Proposed talks can be submitted either by opening a GitHub issue (https://github.com/innovatesac/cityhall/issues/new) or using this form (https://goo.gl/forms/hdOjmH6zs1Qs54853).

Following the lightning talks, Code for Sacramento's regular weekly meetup will continue where we'll hear what teams have been working on, let people pitch new Code for Sac projects, socialize, and eat pizza. Sound good? Good! See you there!
PARKING: Street meters downtown are now operational until 10pm, so plan accordingly. The City Hall parking garage at 10th and I has a $5 flat rate after 5 pm, and may be your simplest option.
