There are numerous statistical text books that cover Linear Regression in great detail, but require substantial statistical background, and perhaps as many blog postings that provide a one page, high level overview. Sometimes code is included, sometimes not.

The goal of this event will be to bring all of that together in one place: providing a more detailed understanding of related statistical concepts, while providing intuitions for fundamental concepts in a non-technical way. Python included.

Topics covered:

- Algorithm components
- Data evaluation & hypothesis testing
- Goodness of fit, model pitfalls, and non-technical intuitions
- Homoscedasticity, multi-collinearity, and auto-correlation.
