South Rampart Ride (from Dakin Rd)
NOTE: THIS IS A DIFFERENT STAGING AREA FROM PRIOR RAMPART WEEKDAY RIDES --Google Map Staging Coordinates:[masked], [masked] Miss the crowded weekend trails and join us for a ride thru the single track of South Rampart. Kickstands up at 7:30 AM, Sharp, so come early to get ready 🤑 Going to ride a couple of NEWER 770 single track sections off Watson Park Rd (FR 503) that heads south toward Rainbow Falls (nice/fun sections). Connect up to 2-3 good trails on the NW side of Rainbow Falls. Then take 650 and 649A to the dirt road to our staging area. Optionally, we can include the new section of 679 (Single track) and part of 770 on the way back to where we started, depending on group preference. Plan on about a 35-45 mile ride, with about 50-70 % of our ride being single track. Pack some lunch/snacks and plenty of water. Please bring you own map of Rampart to get you back to cover any other eventualities (:->. Directions to Parking/Departure Location: 1. Take I-25 toward Castle Rock and take the WOLFENSBERGER EXIT (middle of the 3 Castle Rock Exits) 2. Take WOLFENSBERGER Rd. West for 6.2 miles until it “Tees” into Colorado Route 105 (Perry Park Rd) 3. Turn LEFT on CO-105 and follow it for 4.8 miles and you will see DAKAN Rd on your right. (Dakan Rd will start out paved and then change to dirt and get smaller and tighter the farther up you go.) 4. Turn RIGHT onto DAKAN Road and follow it for 2.4 miles; Turn hard right to stay on Dakan Rd. Continue on Dakan Rd another 2.5 miles. 5. Turn sharp left onto Hidden Valley Rd and follow it 0.2 miles and take the slight left to continue on Hidden Valley Rd. Staging area is approximately 1. 4 - 1.8 miles to the first big, marked parking lot on your right. 6. It will take you approximately 45 minutes to get to the staging area from the WOLFENSBERGER Rd & I-25 exit in Castle Rock so plan accordingly. Google Map Staging Coordinates:[masked], [masked]

    What we're about

This is a family group for the beginner to the extreme rider whether its on a dirt bike or atv. We will be having meetups at the track and big camping trips as well as day rides. If you need a last minute riding buddy throw a message up in our "lets ride" forum and you're sure to get a response. Check out our calendar for our camping meetups which occur every month this summer. We will also be having track meetups for the beginners and for the racers. In the off season we have "get to know everyone" meetups. We have sponsors offering discounts and swag to help us all through these tough times so help them by buying from them. Our group is free to join, all we ask is that you be active as much as possible. So please take the time to take our polls and check our message boards for info. As you join please list what your riding skills are, when you want to go riding, and where.

    Always
    STAY THE TRAIL.
