Colorado Magento Meetup - PWA All Day, Every Day

The future is here, lets talk about it. Progressive Web Apps (https://developers.google.com/web/progressive-web-apps/) will transform the web in the same way that Responsive Web Design did. Just as it's taken for granted that all web sites work on all devices, as PWA takes over, the idea that your web site is not progress will soon send you to the bottom of Google rankings and gain the ire of customers that are looking to have seamless and fast experiences.

In this Meetup we will go over what PWAs are and why they matter. We will then give an over view some of the community projects that will transform a Magento 2 site into the Falcon Heavy of ecommerce. And to round out the night, we will show the integration process to get you up and running with PWA today.

While this Meetup is focused on Magento, the strength of PWAs are that they are platform agnostic. The tools that get your site working as a PWA are independent of the platform they are running on, so this Meetup will bring insight to all web developers and site owners on what this radical new system will bring.

As always, I will be at the meeting space early to hang out if anyone has some specific Magento question and late to keep talking about what ever comes up.

--Venue Info--

Fluid Coffee Bar has a meeting room in the back that we will be taking over. It's located on the corner of 19th and Pennsylvania, right outside of Downtown Denver. There is access into the space in the back of the shop, but if you are coming late, there are doors on the outside of the space for direct access to the meeting room, you don't have to go through the coffee shop. Parking is all street parking, and in this area is a roll of the dice, but I have always been able to find plenty of spots. Take note of the street signs, almost all parking has a 2 hours limit, but the ends at 6pm. After that parking is unlimited all night long.
