Colorado Magento Meetup - Developer Certification Open Session

We now have a whole suite of certifications from Magento inc., lets get together and talk about it. I will be taking on the Front End Developer Certification first. So I want to talk about that test in detail, the study resources that are out in the world to prepare for the test and what is did to pass it (or what I should have done to pass it in the case I failed).

Certification is a big deal in the Magento world not because it proves you are a good developer, but that you are committed to the Magento platform and want to show that commitment with over coming a challenging test.

But there is no reason to go it alone. I want to focus on the tests and strategies, but hope to set up a local study group to get everyone over the finish line that want to pass this test. If you are interested in that, but maybe can't make the meetup, don't hesitate to reach out to get in the loop for future meetings.

--Venue Info--

Fluid Coffee Bar has a meeting room in the back that we will be taking over. It's located on the corner of 19th and Pennsylvania, right outside of Downtown Denver. There is access into the space in the back of the shop, but if you are coming late, there are doors on the outside of the space for direct access to the meeting room, you don't have to go through the coffee shop. Parking is all street parking, and in this area is a roll of the dice, but I have always been able to find plenty of spots. Take note of the street signs, almost all parking has a 2 hours limit, but the ends at 6pm. After that parking is unlimited all night long.
