The Colorado Mountain Club is the state’s leading organization dedicated to adventure, recreation, conservation and education. Founded in 1912, the CMC acts as a gateway to the mountains for novices and experts alike, offering an array of year-round activities, events and schools centered on outdoor recreation

Quick Start Seminar: Trip Planning for EVERYONE (Webinar)

Date: Wednesday 10/8/20 (6:30-8:30 pm) Location: Live Webinar (Details to be e-mailed to participants a few days prior to event, best viewed on full screen) Note: Because presenters will be e-mailling particpants handout prior to presentation, registration is cut off on 8/4/20 (no same day registration.) Come learn all the details to plan your summer adventure! CMC's own Maddie Miller will take you through step by step how to plan and communicate your trip plan. Did you know Maddie successfully completed a record breaking 50 State High Peak Challenge? Total Uber planning! Are you dreaming of road tripping this summer to the 14ers, lakes or National Park? This can be your guide to getting your trip together. Maddie will outline basic steps of planning your adventure for the first hour. Then we will break out into smaller groups and participants will plan an adventure with the help and guidance of other CMC mentors. This is not just for CMC leaders; it's for everyone who wants to learn to plan a safe and fun journey.
