Yugen: A Connections Movement Film
Join Zeal Optics athlete, and Connections Movement filmmaker, Rafael Pease, as he showcases snowboard mountaineering in a brand new light. Expect steep faces, deep powder, and extreme travel envy. Buy tickets: Follow the journey of snowboard mountaineer, Rafael Pease, and crew as they travel to five countries in search of what it truly means to be one with the mountain. "Yūgen" is a film that explores the connection we as mountaineers and environmentalists share with the natural world. Come out to Golden for the North American premiere on Thursday, September 27. The film will start at 7:30pm, with doors opening at 6:30pm. Arrive early for giveaways from vendors. Ticket and drink sales will benefit the Colorado Mountain Club! Producer/Director/Athlete of the film, Rafael Pease, will be giving a short presentation before the film - introducing himself to the audience and giving unique insight into "Yūgen." Colorado Mountain Club and American Alpine Club members: Bring your membership cards or proof of membership for a free beer ticket or give-away ticket! Purchase tickets in advanced for $10. Tickets will be available via will-call pickup, the night of the presentation. Walk in tickets will be sold for $12 the night of the film.
