Columbus AWS (Amazon Web Services) Meetup

Having a strong, secure data protection strategy is essential for every business. Businesses today need to be following the 3-2-1 best practice guideline as well as innovate to address the increasing cyber risk they experience today. No matter what type of disaster, businesses should have a playbook to help them withstand, reduce and recover there data to minimize the impact of an outage. This session will discuss the importance of why you should be backing up your data, how you can plan for a disaster and security practices that can be implemented to help stay resilient against ransomware.

About presenter: Kirsten Stoner is a Technologist on the Product Strategy team at Veeam Software. With almost 10 years of software experience, Kirsten has a specialized focus in all things data management including storage, cloud, IT Security and analytics. Through her years working at Veeam, she leads the creation of technical content for product demonstrations, webinars and digital written collateral, engaging audiences globally. Kirsten holds the Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) credential with a drive to continuously learn more about customer paint points and the technologies they use to overcome them.
