A streamlined AWS implementation for processing high-volume forensic DNA data will be presented (https://www.fsigenetics.com/article/S1872-4973(17)30177-1/abstract), and examples of how next-generation DNA technologies are being applied to solve cold-cases will be discussed. Participants will also have an opportunity to provide input to a pilot concept for opensource data collection for forensic applications.
AWS tools: S3, MySQL, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda
