It's been a long time since we've done any synth meetups but now the wait is over!
This will be the first edition of CV FREQS in Columbus! It is a modular synthesizer meet to bring together people who are using and interested in modular synthesizers. We are launching a brand new studio space in the Brewery District for modular synthesis research.
We invite people to bring their eurorack systems, headphones, a speaker or two and a power cord out to demonstrate them. We set them up on tables for the setup time, starting an hour before the event opens to the public. Then we all play them and talk about them at the same time throughout the day, so it can get loud and cacophonous as the event progresses!
We start at 12 noon and end at 7, breaking down time, with a few live performances starting around 5. Since this will be the first one in Columbus, folks excited about modular synths will see what the meet is like and participate in the format.
